The tentative VITEEE 2023 result date was announced earlier while issuing the admit card. The VITEEE results 2023 have been published on the official website, vit.ac.in.

The VITEEE counselling will be held from April 26 to June 14 tentatively, VIT Andhra Pradesh said. However, the complete schedule will be announced along with the entrance exam results 2023. The VIT engineering entrance exam results will also be sent through SMS. Low Score VITEEE B-Tech Direct Admission VIT Vellore at vit.ac.in;
Candidates will have to participate in the VITEEE counselling process based on the ranks secured in the exam. “Candidates with rank upto 1 lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus,” the institute said.
The BTech entrance exam 2023 was conducted from April 17 to 23 and overall the question paper was moderate in difficulty level. However, each section was rated easy to tough by students after each shift.
The VITEEE question paper had five sections. Mathematics had 40 questions while physics and chemistry had 35 questions each.
English section 5 questions based on a comprehensive essay and aptitude had 10 questions. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, as per the marking scheme.\

- Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2023.
- Selected candidates can participate in online counseling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
- Candidates with rank upto 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai campus.
- VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled.
- In case of situation wherein the eligibility criteria is not applicable, the decision of the VIT will be final.

VIT exam for engineering admission
The institute conducted the VITEEE exam 2023 for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The VIT question paper had five sections -mathematics, physics, chemistry, English and aptitude. Mathematics section had 40 questions, physics and chemistry had 35 questions each. English section 5 questions based on a comprehensive essay and aptitude had 10 questions.
