Does VIT offer Admissions through Management quota? There is no Management Quota in VIT. Admissions to B.Tech. Programmed is based on the merit rank obtained in the VITEEE 2023 and for other Undergraduate programmed, it is based on the merit of your XII/ Higher Secondary Boards by which you would be ranked accordingly.

Is there lateral entry admission available for Diploma candidates?

‘No’. There is no lateral entry admission offered for B.Tech and UG programmed. Diploma holders (10+3) are eligible for B.Sc. Multimedia and Animation, Visual Communication, Fashion Designing (Chennai) with an overall aggregate of 60%.

NRI/ Foreign Students Admission related Queries:

1) Indian passport holders whose parents are employed abroad can apply for both NRI as well as VITEEE (separate application and admission procedures).

2) PIO card holders can also apply for VITEEE but those holding only foreign passports are not eligible.

Note: Although counselling fee is non refundable but it can be adjusted in the tuition fee once a student joins the university.

Documents required at the time of counselling:

• Rank card, Admit card & Counselling letter of VITEEE
• Class Xth certificate in support of Date of Birth
• Marks sheet of qualifying examination
• Community & Domicile certificate, if applicable
• Demand Draft in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore.

Note: Final selection will be confirmed after payment of balance fee. In this regard, students have to send it to Chennai or Vellore as per their seat allocation. 

Slot booking Procedure Direct Admission

Log in to website of VIT University. (you should keep photocopy of application form & password)

Select the subject in which you want to take the test.

In case of non-availability of test centre, choose another one.

A confirmation mail will be sent to your e-mail ID, once the slot booking will be done.

After completion of slot booking, admit card will be generated. Take print out of the same & keep it safe.

VIT Vellore Admission Updates

• CAT 2022 Result is released on the official website- iimcat.ac.in. By entering your user ID and password, Candidates can check their CAT 2022 result. The CAT 2022 result includes the overall score and percentile, as well as the sectional scores and percentiles for VARC, DILR, and Quant. Scorecards for CAT 2022 are available for download until December 31, 2023.
• According to the CAT 2022 results released on December 21, 2022, 55 candidates scored 99.98 and above. CAT 2022 has produced 11 perfect scores of 100 percentiles this year.
• VIT University, Vellore is one of the most popular engineering institutions in India with national & global recognition. The college has started the VITEEE 2023 registration for admission to its B.Tech program. Interested students should complete the online application process through the application window available on VIT’s official website: @viteee.vit.ac.in. The last date for VITEE 2023 application submission is March 31, 2023 tentatively. The college has scheduled the VITEE test from April 15 – 21, 2023.
