BITS Palani has established eligibility criteria based on the candidate’s academic background. All of the courses have different eligibility criteria.
Candidates who completed their 12th grade in 2023 or before are ineligible for admission to BITS. Candidates who are already enrolled in a BITS programme are likewise unable to take the BITSAT 2023. The BITSAT subjects are listed below.

| Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam | For admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their 10+2 or equivalent exam. For admission to the B.Pharm program, students must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 10+2 or equivalent exam. Candidates with PCM, on the other hand, can apply to the Pharmacy program. To be considered, candidates must have a sufficient command of the English language. |
| Passing Status | BITSAT 2023 will be open to those who are taking their 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2023 or who have completed their qualifying exam in 2023. If a candidate has attempted more than one 10+2 or comparable exam, only his or her most recent performance will be taken into account, provided that this attempt was for the entire component of subjects/courses required. Candidates who completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2019 or before will not be eligible for the BITSAT eligibility requirements in 2023. |
