Cummins College Engineering

Cummins College is the first all women engineering college in India established in the year 1991 with support of Cummins Diesel (India) Foundation. Parent institution of Cummins College is Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS). ‘Bharat Ratna’ Recipient, Maharshi Karve, established MKSSS in 1896 with the mission of women empowerment through education.

College is located in the Pune city which is known as ‘Oxford of the East’. Pune is also hub of automobile, manufacturing and software industries.

CCEW is recognized for its rigor in academics and dedicated faculty, successful alumnae being its outcome. CCEW has a strong association with the industry and is recognized for providing quality recruits for the industry.

MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state, Mumbai.

Cummins College is offering five undergraduate programs, two post graduate programs and Ph.D. program. All undergraduates, post graduates and Ph.D. programs are affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The campus of this college is spread over an area of one lakh forty one thousand square ft. The various campus facilities of this college are 31 laboratories, 12 class rooms, an auditorium, workshop and Hostel which accommodates about 650 girls.

For Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed the HSC or its equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects with 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 50% marks. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by the UGC with 50% marks. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET.

For All India Candidates/ J&K Migrant Candidates: Same as for M.S. Candidates. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET/ JEE (Main)

Admission Process@ Cummins College Engineering

The fundamental requirement for any candidate seeking admission into the institution is that he/she should have qualified the eligibility criteria set by the institution.

Further, the candidate should have to appear for either of theMHT CET/JEE Mains entrance examination.
