Criteria Required for Engineering AdmissionThe minimum requirement for Admission to Engineering Course in India is Class 12th Std. Interested Students should pass class 12th or 10+2 or 2nd PUC or equivalent examination from any reputed University or Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. They must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one subject among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and English as a language subject.

Eligibility Criteria for BE/B.Tech

In order to secure admission to B.E/B. Tech the candidates need to have completed the 12th standard. Students who have completed equivalent courses too can apply for the course. There is a condition that it should be from a recognized institute. They need to have pursued Mathematics and also science during the 12th standard. The Science subjects should include both Physics and Chemistry. Many of the institutes prefer candidates who score at least 60% in these subjects. Also, it is a must in some of the institutes that the candidate should have pursued English as a subject. 50% is a must in this subject. The overall score should be at least 50%.
