RV college of Engineering is an autonomous Engineering college in Bangalore, affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) owned and operated by a non-profitable trust; Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). The institution was established back in 1963, and it is one of the oldest self-financing engineering colleges in the whole country. There are more than 150 engineering colleges located in Karnataka under VTU and among them RV College of Engineering is one of the top private colleges.
